The 3 FlixBus Stops in Stockholm

1. Cityterminalen: The Main Hub

📍 Next to Stockholm Central Station (T-Centralen), central Stockholm

Cityterminalen is the main FlixBus hub in Stockholm and the most important stop for all long-distance routes. It serves destinations like Berlin, Oslo, Copenhagen, and other major European cities.

Why it matters: Directly connected to Stockholm Central Station and Flygbussarna airport coaches to Arlanda. Full facilities include ticket counters, waiting areas, information desks, and nearby shops and restaurants. This is the primary stop most travelers should use.

2. Liljeholmen: Southern Stockholm

📍 Near T-bana Liljeholmen, approximately 4-5 km from city center

Liljeholmen is a single FlixBus stop in southern Stockholm primarily serving the direct route to Berlin (807 km).

Why it matters: Easy access via the T-bana Liljeholmen metro station and local bus connections. Note that this is a basic stop with a platform only, so all ticket services should be handled at Cityterminalen.

3. Arlanda Airport: Northern Hub

📍 Terminal 5 Platform 9, Terminal 2 Platforms 3+4, Terminal 4 Platforms 5+6

Arlanda is Sweden’s largest and busiest airport, served by FlixBus at three terminal stops.

Why it matters: A shuttle service runs every 20 minutes during peak hours between Arlanda and Cityterminalen, stopping at Järva Krog, Frösunda, Haga Norra, Haga Södra, Norra Stationsgatan, and Stockholm St Eriksplan along the way.

Which Stop Should You Use?

  • For all long-distance routes (Berlin, Oslo, Copenhagen): Cityterminalen
  • For Berlin direct from south Stockholm: Liljeholmen
  • For airport connections: Arlanda Airport (shuttle to Cityterminalen available)
  • For full ticket services and amenities: Cityterminalen only

Cityterminalen is by far the most important and well-equipped FlixBus stop in Stockholm, ideally located right next to T-Centralen and serving as the central departure and arrival point for virtually all long-distance FlixBus routes in and out of the Swedish capital.
