Gustav Alonso

The use of digital tools is becoming a necessity in any work place in Sweden and Stockholm City is not an exception. In the case of hourly workers, it is sometimes difficult to monitor the hours worked and make sure that payment is done appropriately, but not anymore. TimRapporten is a digital time-reporting service of Stockholm City that allows reporting your hours, checking your salary slips, and updating your information easily.

This guide describes how TimRapporten works, how to start using it, and what it can be used with, regardless of whether you are in schools, elderly care, administration, etc.

What Is TimRapporten?

TimRapporten

TimRapporten is an online service that enables employees in Stockholm City to report their hours worked on a daily basis, hourly, and precisely, paying per hour. The platform is intended to be easy, versatile, and reachable at any point. You only need:

  • A smartphone, tablet, or computer
  • Bank-ID for secure login
  • An active employment registered in Stockholm City’s payroll system

TimRapporten allows you to not only fill in paper forms when submitting regular hours, but all of this is done online in a few clicks.

What You Can Do in TimRapporten

TimRapporten is not only a time-reporting tool. Once logged in, you can:

  • Report your worked hours: Simply insert your shifts in the month in hand.
  • View an overview of submitted hours: Check what you have reported and make sure that everything is right.
  • See and update your contact details: Make sure that you have your phone number, address, and other information updated.
  • Access your salary slip: Your pay slip is in TimRapporten a couple of days prior to the payday.

How to Get Started with TimRapporten

Inloggning TimeRapporten

The initial steps are easy to follow. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to timrapporten.stockholm.se
  2. Log in with your personal identity number and Bank-ID. In case you do not have a Bank-ID yet, you can ask your bank to issue you one.
  3. After entering, check the box of Min profil and ensure that your information is accurate. You are able to update your information by yourself in case something is incorrect.
  4. Begin to record the hours that you work! You also will see the past hours and future pay slips.

A few days before your wage is paid out, your salary slip will be presented.

Automatic Transfer of Hours

Your reported hours are automatically submitted to the payroll system at the end of every month. This transfer occurs on the 3 rd day of the next month at 23:59.

Example:
Hours from January are transferred on 3 February at 23:59.

Once the transfer time is reached, no additional changes can be made with respect to the past month. In case you have not reported a shift, you are required to provide the missing hours in a paper form to your boss.

If You Cannot Log In

New employees are not always able to log in the first time. This typically implies that you are not registered in the payroll system of Stockholm City.

Your manager should initially submit your employment information to the Service Administration. You will be registered, so come the following day again. In case you were able to log in before, but now cannot, contact your manager.

Even after you have stopped working, you can still log in within 60 days to view your salary slips.
